29 reasons to be grateful

Have you ever intentionally practiced gratitude?
In my case is one of the practices that really helps me recenter and get better when I'm feeling a little bit down.
I usually practice it, at the end of the day, by writing just 3 things that made me smile that day.
Just that. And it is so powerful.
Even if it's something as little as the sun hitting your skin. If remembering that moment makes you smile, add it to the list! (sunshine is one of the main characters on my lists for sure 😅)
You'll see how re-evaluating these moments will help you lighten up your mood a little bit if you were feeling down. And if you practice enough, you'll see how you'll find more and more meaning in little everyday moments.
So because, lately, I haven't been in a super-pleasant mental state, I wanted to take the opportunity of my birthday to remind myself of 29 reasons to be grateful.
Birthdays can be quite an anxious, tricky time, so this seems like a great exercise to re-center our energy on the positive parts of life we should remember and celebrate.
This post is just to share my idea with you, to give you something to think about and maybe consider doing for yourself 💛 (and to force myself to actually take the time to think and write them all out 😅)
Anyway, if you're curious or want some inspiration, here are my
29 reasons to be grateful
I am alive
I talk with my parents every day
My grandma knows how to use WhatsApp!
My family has always been supportive of my decisions
I have built so many strong connections and beautiful friendships around the world
My body is strong enough to practice all the things that spark my interest
I am much more confident than I was 5 years ago
People have trusted me to give them permanent memories on their skin
I am comfortable having conversations with strangers
I can easily make new friends (tell that to 15-year-old Clara!)
I have been able to choose where I want to live
And I have lived in VERY beautiful places
Having had soooo many years with my mís
I have made dresses from scratch
I take beautiful pictures
My curiosity
My mental health and self-growth journey
Friends that listen to all my +5 minutes voice notes 😅
Being surrounded by amazingly creative and inspiring friends and family
Having experienced van life
Falling in love, a little bit more every time, with Valencia
Having had the strength to wake up to take pictures of sunrise so many times
Feeling comfortable being on my own
I fucking pole-danced on top of a table at a bar!
Having made good friends from all the jobs I've had
EU passport
I have never had major health issues
Taking risks despite being afraid
Overcoming my insecurities and self-doubt every time I publish a post
Let me know if you decide to give it a try 💛
Your parents are wery proud of you and we will be with you give our support, always!
Happy 29 birthday!! 💜💜💜
